The firm's founder, Bill Stewart is an accounting graduate of Old Dominion University. He has accumulated over 55 years of experience in both business and personal taxation. As a counselor to many business owners and individuals, Bill is a trusted tax advisor and friend to all whom he serves.
Bill was formerly the President of the Virginia Accountant's Society, where he still maintains a leadership role. He is currently a member of the National Society of Accountants and the National Society of Tax Practitioners and has served on many local bank boards. Bill is active in his church, and enjoys boating and woodworking.
Kevin Stewart, CPA AEP®
A Virginia Beach native, Kevin Stewart is an accounting graduate from James Madison University. He worked for a large regional CPA firm for several years, peforming audits and tax work, before earning his CPA. Kevin has over 24 years of experience working with business and personal taxation, working in a variety of industries to include, manufacturing, contracting, automotive services, restaurants, retailers, not-for-profit, and professional services to name a few.
A large majority of his practice is devoted to assisting closely-held businesses and their owners with issues such as, business planning, income tax planning and preparation, financial planning, insurance considerations and business succession. Kevin is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants. He's also the President of the Hampton Roads Estate Planning Council, and is a Past President of the Tidewater Chapter of the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants. Kevin is one of the founding members and Treasurer of Guys Doing Good, Inc., a 501(c)3 dedicated to the needs of local charities. Kevin enjoys tennis, surfing, and spending time with his wife and 4 children.

John grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He attended The Pennsylvania State University where he obtained a degree in Health Care Administration and a Minor in Business Administration. From there John went straight to graduate school at Clarion University of Pennsylvania and obtained a master’s degree in Business.
John quickly became the CEO of a large multi-specialty physician group in Central Pennsylvania at the age of 27. This opportunity allowed him to learn all aspects of running a multi-million business from the ground up. From there John has held other CEO positions in both large and small organizations ranging from $24 Million in revenue to $325 Million in revenue.
With over 35 years of senior level experience, John has carved out a niche in helping organizations to develop strategic plans and restructure organizations to achieve optimal performance and financial strength.
